New Maruti Brezza launched – ALL DETAILS!

Brezza is one such car that ruled the compact SUV segment in India for five consecutive years till FY2011. However, the car needed an update. Maruti had to do something, and finally he did it. Today it has launched the new Brezza. So, what’s new in this SUV? In today’s article, we will cover the newly launched Maruti Brezza and every detail you need to know about it.

Prices of the new Maruti Brezza start at Rs 7.99 Lakh and go up to Rs 13.96 Lakh (ex-showroom). What about variants? The new Brezza comes with ten variant options. The Brezza is available in four variants – LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+. Automatic variants include VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. The color options include six single tone options – Sizzling Red, Brave Khaki, Exuberant Blue, Magma Grey, Splendid Gray and Pearl Arctic White. Dual-tone options include Sizzling Red with Midnight Black roof, Brave Khaki with Arctic White roof and Splendid Silver with Midnight Black roof.

Design

The Brezza was known for its boxy design, and Maruti continues it with the new Brezza. What has changed in Maruti? Maruti has now revamped the design with sharper headlamps and a new grille. It also gets a new air dam, which improves on the overall design. The side profile has more cladding which makes the Brezza look bulky. L-shaped tail lamps are given at the rear. Like all updates, the Brezza also gets new alloy wheels.

The interiors in the new Brezza have also received major updates. What are these updates? We see a new dashboard layout with a floating infotainment system. Below that, we have the AC vents and controls. Other highlights include a semi-digital instrument cluster and a new D-cut, three-spoke steering wheel.

Specifications

The new Brezza gets the new 1.5-litre naturally aspirated K15C DualJet petrol engine that is shared with the refreshed Ertiga and XL6. This engine is capable of generating 101bhp power and 136.8Nm torque. What about a hybrid setup? Maruti has given it a progressive Smart Hybrid technology to give it better fuel efficiency. The manual variant gives a mileage of 20.15kmpl and the automatic variant gives a mileage of 19.80kmpl.

Features are fast becoming the main USP for all car buyers. Sensing the change, Maruti had to introduce new features including a sunroof on the new Brezza. Yes, the new Brezza has a sunroof. What are the other highlighted features? These include 9.0-inch infotainment system, 360-degree camera, heads-up display, rear AC vents, cooled glove box, Arkmez sound sense, alloy wheels, auto headlamps, OTA update, Suzuki Connect, ambient lighting. What about security? The new Brezza comes with ESP, 6-airbags, hill hold assist and reverse parking sensors. Among the many safety features, ESP, hill hold assist, dual airbags, reverse parking sensors and ISOFIX are some of the important standard safety features.
