Overview
The evergreen Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 got a significant update and in the process has dropped ‘800’ from its name. Apart from exterior and interior modifications, the refreshed Maruti Alto is now in line with the latest safety standards in India. Its 796cc engine has also been made BS-VI emission norm-ready, ensuring that the Alto will remain on sale for a few more years to come. The smaller Alto is available in petrol and CNG variants but there is no automatic gearbox option. One of the cheapest cars on sale in India, the Alto offers the peace of mind experience of Maruti for relatively less money.
