New Delhi: The state government on Monday banned the plying of BS-III petrol and BS-IV diesel four-wheelers in the city till December 9. Violation of this will attract a fine of Rs. 20,000. The Pollution Control Department of the Transport Department gave this information in a statement. count.

The order came a day after the Central Panel on Air Quality, the Air Quality Management Commission banned construction and demolition activities in the NCR under Phase III restrictions of the Graded Response Action Plan after the AQI deteriorated to the 407 categories.
